It’s Humanity Foundation Organized Its 2nd Annual Charity Gala Night-2018
It’s Humanity Foundation (IHF), a non-profit organization aimed towards the betterment of rural and underprivileged children organized its 2ndAnnual Charity Gala Night, held at the La Vita Hall of Lakeshore Hotel and Apartments, Banani, on the 17th of March, 2018 from 6:30 to 9.30 pm. It was the biggest fundraising event by IHF, with a view to bringing together all the sponsors, stakeholders of IHF and potential philanthropists to come forward to support the cause of IHF which is to educate underprivileged children and empower women to ensure a better future for them by helping them alleviating poverty through a sustainable plan.
The event brought together over 150 guests, many of whom were business leaders, ambassadors, ex-pats, diplomats and local corporate heads, all under the same roof to support the noble cause.
Madam Ambassador of U.S. Embassy Ms. Marcia Bernicat graced the event with her presence as the Chief Guest. There were also other big heads from the World Bank, International Labor Organization (ILO), United Nations (UN), Helen Keller, Radisson Blu, BATA, Unicef, along with TV personalities like Sharmin Lucky who also happens to be the Brand Ambassador of IHF.
The highlights of the program included cultural performances by IHF School students, showcasing the talent of rural women through fashion show, live music by prominent band Blue Jeans, followed by the buffet dinner. All the proceeds from this event went towards supporting the free education of the underprivileged children studying in IHF School, as well as supporting their mothers with vocational training on crafting through the women empowerment project Protibha.
A wide range of media partners covered the event, namely –The Daily Star, Prito Reza Production, ABC Radio, and Magenta Advertising & Marketing Agency. ICE TODAY served as the Magazine Partner. Lakeshore Hotel & Apartments was the venue sponsor of this Charity Gala Night and Nino Abstract Consulting LLC provided strategic partner; whereas Peyala Café along with Tabaq Coffee, Arla food provided food sponsorship.
