COVID-19 Emergency Crisis Fund Distribution Day 6, 8th May
Nur Nagar is a little settlement around 350 km from Dhaka. Be that as it may, this abruptly shaped settlement is referred to everybody as a slum, where 53 families live. In 2017, by giving relief materials to the flood survivors of the region we got the chance to find out about its occupants. It is a humble community based on a harvest field very near the city. There was only a mosque, no electricity, no clean water and no proper sewerage facility.
We decided to do something for them. Afterward, with the affection and participation of the individuals there, we began a little school there. There are 72 kids studying in the school where a few youngsters likewise come from the neighboring village. Individuals who ate two times every day are not getting enough food today.
It's Humanity Foundation - (IHF) is continually attempting to help them however much as could reasonably be expected. Ever since the lockdown took effect in the country, we have been providing them with the necessary food and health care materials from time to time. In its continuation, we have had the option to bring them 10 days of food this week. We are much obliged and thankful to SAJIDA Foundation for helping us execute this little activity and stand by these individuals.
