A Morning With The Children, For The Children
On the occasion of celebrating World Charity Day, It’s Humanity Foundation (IHF) arranged a fundraising event, Charity Coffee Morning on 21st September ’19, Saturday at Hotel Sarina. It was a three hour event full of activity designed to build better bonds between the elder and younger generations. The idea was not only to raise fund for IHF’s cause but also to give back something valuable to the sponsors and other stakeholders as an expression of gratitude.
The charity coffee morning started with guest children and lHF School students playing musical chair. What could be a better start off for an event which is organised to bring children from two different world closer to each other. Guests came along with their children, nephews and/or nieces to enjoy a morning playing with clay and getting pottery making lesson from Clay Station Dhaka. Cherry on top was an interactive session by Ms. Farin Daulah from Yellow Brick Road which indulged all the guests into the idea of mindfulness. Over breakfast, guests spoke to the IHF students and heard for themselves how their support is changing the IHF students’ lives. All the fund raised from the event will go towards educating the marginalised children that IHF supports.
